I really like how people add photos. I don’t do Facebook much anymore because I got tired of reading comments. What I really enjoyed was looking at photos people posted. (a pic is worth a 1000!)

Pinning is allright. I don’t do it myself, but my girlfriend does and she is always showing me things. I haven’t had the time to learn too much about it yet, but I will be checking out all of the links.

Adding the links was good and very helpful, but I found that a few didn’t really give me anymore of an in depth understanding. The 13 tips and tricks was the best.

Yes, I did like how you added all of the links! You actually did a lot of work for me. Usually, if I like a blog or it is interesting I spend time researching, but you already did that. Thanks.

    Tom Sanders says:

I haven’t pinned, but after reading this I wonder if it is as easy as Facebook and others. I routinely update via my phone, but I am not sure I would have time to look for pics while on my phone and pin them.

Of all the links, and thanks for putting them, I liked the 13 tips the best. It gave me the best info on what can actually be done with Pinterest. Thanks combridges!

Tom, Pinterest is not ideal via iPhone. Best with a web browser when you install the web browser plugin (for Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.). That makes it quick and easy to pin stuff when the inspiration hits. It’s definitely part of Pinterest’s appeal, but the small screen makes it harder. I haven’t even tried to do it from my iPhone, but via iPad. Yes. Enjoy.

I like your pinterest boards! Question: When you use photos are there any copyright problems?

  12. ComBridges
    ComBridges says:

Cindy, thanks for the comment. There has been some discussion of copyright issues with Pinterest; however, my completely non-lawyer view is that sharing online content in a non-commercial context where you are linking back to the source is good for all because only the copyright owner can profit. Generally people LIKE to be linked to on the Web; and since I am not profiting directly by posting an image, it’s “fair use.” In general, I’m not posting proprietary art of any kind, more like product photos and other things like infographics that are designed for sharing. Again, this is not legal advise. Just my personal point of view. I hope it’s helpful to you.

Interesting that so many women like it. I wonder if they are trying to get more men or if it will just stay this way.

  14. ComBridges
    ComBridges says:

Thanks, Johnny. I think they are happy with the amazing growth. It’s true that many more women like it. If I were them, I would just say “so be it.” And, hey, I’m a guy and I like to too! 🙂

First off I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question
which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I’ve
had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any suggestions or hints? Appreciate it!
